Summary of position:

The Straightener straightens product during the manufacturing process. This job description indicates the general nature and level of the work that is expected. Main responsibilities:

• Select machine tooling to be used, utilizing knowledge of machine and production requirements.
• Set and adjust machine controls according to product specifications utilizing knowledge of machine operation.
• Measure work pieces using precision measuring devices.
• Lift and position work pieces and secure them on machine tables.
• Activate machine start up switches to perform appropriate production work according to specification.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma
• Ability to work with tools
• General machine knowledge
