Division info:

The Landing Gear Market specializes in the design, qualification, manufacture and repair and overhaul of landing gears and flight critical components to a customer base that extends from the OEMs (Original Equipment Manufacturers) to the Operators in both the commercial and military markets.

Summary of position:

To set and operate a range of CNC controlled machinery within the company as required by specifications.
Salary:
Starting rate from 13.99 to 16.95 as per experience with shift premium 17% on 2 shifts and 22% on 3 shifts + Overtime paid at x1.5 or x2 dependant on availability.
*These hourly rates are starting points, there is room to grow as per performance, technical ability, quality of work and acquired experience!
Schedules & Easy Access:
• Week starts on Sunday 21h30 and finishes on Friday 06.00 for night shift
• Week starts on Monday 06.00 and finishes on Friday 13.45 for morning shift
• Week starts on Monday 14.00 and finishes on Friday 21.30 for afternoon shift

*Easy access by A-38 & M-1 and a Railway station about 10mins from the unit*

• Setting and operating CNC machines including.

o DMG DMC 160U

o WFL 120 / WFL 65

o MAZAK E500

o MAZAK Integrex i-400

o CINCINNATI FTV5

o UNION TC110

o TOS VARNSDORF WHN130MC

o MCM tank 1600 MP10 (10 pallets)

• Production of precision machined components and tooling items as required • Checking the quality of components produced throughout the batch cycle • Accurate recording of quantities and time allocation using company systems • Carry out regular maintenance of the machines as per company schedules

Qualifications:

• The role will involve setting and operating a variety of CNC 3/4/5 axis Milling machines, dealing with Aluminium, Steel and Titanium components to tight tolerances. • Must have good level of understanding in using either Fanuc / Heidenheim / Mazatrol / Siemens machine control systems; and also willing to develop further CNC machining skills and abilities. • Carry out any other duties as are within the scope, spirit and purpose of the job as requested by Senior Management.
