As an SAP Basis Administrator, you will be responsible for overseeing the Application Management Services for our SAP environment. This role requires a deep understanding of SAP systems, including BASIS, ABAP, and Security modules. You will lead a team of professionals in managing, maintaining, and optimizing our SAP systems to ensure seamless and efficient business operations.

Main responsibilities:

Leadership and Team Management:
• Lead and mentor a team of SAP professionals.
• Ensure team compliance with IT standards, policies, and procedures.
SAP System Management:
• Oversee the administration of SAP BASIS, configuration, and maintenance.
• Guide the team in ABAP development for custom requirements and enhancements.
• Manage SAP security protocols, user access controls, and data privacy measures.
Service Delivery and Support:
• Ensure high-quality service delivery in line with SLAs.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external vendors for system improvements and issue resolutions.
• Implement proactive measures to minimize system downtime and optimize performance.
Project Management:
• Conduct regular project reviews and reports on progress.
Continuous Improvement:
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives in SAP services.
• Stay updated with the latest SAP technologies and industry trends.
Risk Management and Compliance:
• Monitor and manage risks related to SAP systems.
• Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory standards.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in configuring and maintaining SAP environments, with a focus on BASIS, ABAP, or Security.
• Proven experience in managing and leading technical teams.
• Strong project management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• SAP certification in BASIS, ABAP, or Security.
• Experience with SAP HANA and cloud-based SAP solutions.
• Familiarity with ITIL or similar IT service management frameworks.
• Able to communicate and write in French & English.
