Division info:

The Landing Gear Market specializes in the design, qualification, manufacture and repair and overhaul of landing gears and flight critical components to a customer base that extends from the OEMs (Original Equipment Manufacturers) to the Operators in both the commercial and military markets.

Summary of position:

To set and operate a range of CNC controlled machinery within the company as required

Main responsibilities:

Responsibilities
• All employees have a responsibility for the quality of work that they produce
• All employees have a responsibility for the health and safety of themselves and other employees

Main Duties
• Setting and operating CNC machines including;
o KIA KH63G Twin Pallet Horiz
o Mazak
o TOS VARNSDORF WHN130MC
o UNION TC110
o TOYODA FH80
o CINCINNATI FTV5

• Production of precision machined components and tooling items as required
• Checking the quality of components produced throughout the batch cycle
• Recording of quantities and time taken using company systems
• Carry out regular maintenance of the machines as per company schedules
• Following company procedures as required

Qualifications:

• The role will involve setting and operating a variety of CNC 3/4/5 axis Milling machines.
• Must be Perficient in using Fanuc / Siemens machine controls.
• Must be willing to work a 3 shift rotating shift pattern.
• Must have experience of working in a close tolerance Aerospace environment.
• The ideal candidate must have a minimum 5 year's CNC Milling experience.
• Carry out any other duties as are within the scope, spirit and purpose of the job as requested by Senior Management.
